尤安·卡波特 | Galleria Continua

After having studied at the Provincial Art School of Pinar del Río, the National Art School (ENA)and the Higher Institute of Art (ISA) in Havana, Yoan Capote has received distinctions such as the international Fellowship Grant by the Guggenheim Foundation (2006), the Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant (2006) and the Vermont Studio Center Fellowship (2002). During the Seventh Biennal of Havana (2000) he received the UNESCO prize, together with the artits’collective DUPP. He partecipe in “Cuba Mon Amour”, the Cuban pavilion at the Venice Biennale, in 2011m and the traveling exhibition “Goodbye Utopia; Dreams and Deceptions in Cuban Art”, in 2017, to cite just some on the most relevant events. He will participate at the XIII Bienal of Havana
